Client Services – Director / Manager
Milan joined Sherwood Development Company in 2004 after spending nearly his entire lifetime of Construction industry.
He has been a part of and overseen the production of over 100 spec home builds and has been a part of the evolution of Sherwood’s new construction.
Milan began working as a nationwide residential builder and worked his way through the ranks. After the early stages of his career, he successfully managed a high profile residential building project as well as several large scale commercial development projects serving as project manager.
Currently, Milan is responsible for all of Sherwood Development Company’s field quality control and client services, as well as onsite construction management of multiple homes under construction. Problem solving, creative thinking and time management are just a few of his daily attributes. If you have built a home with Sherwood development or bought one within the past decade chances are you know him well.
Milan was born and raised in Thousand Oaks and now lives nearby with his wife and son in Thousand Oaks. Milan enjoys yearly tropical vacations to Caribbean Islands and/or Hawaiian islands and on the weekends he enjoys fine wine and visiting California’s Coastal vineyards perfect his wine connoisseurship.
Milan Georgeff’s role in the Development process is that of Construction Superintendent/Client Services Manager.
Not unlike the other members of Sherwood Development Company, Milan has a lifetime of experience in the construction and the development industry. His experience and knowledge provide the team with the necessary direction in order to seamlessly fill any gaps and additions that may be needed—during and after construction.
Milan specializes in the “tweaking and tuning,” by applying his touch to the “last 5%” of the homes and luxury amenities. Milan also conducts all client Walk-Throughs and creates punchlists for subcontractors, then schedules and manages the construction / repair process.
By far, the most important aspect of Milan’s role is his relationships with the current homeowners. His relationships bridge the gap between current homeowner and first time Sherwood buyers. His knowledge of each and every detail of the construction methods used to build these homes allow for his detailed and accurate explanations for the owners, prospective buyers and brokers.
Not only his “know-how,” but his visibility throughout the years enables the existing homeowners and first time buyers to trust him implicitly.
In addition to the translation of the constructed details, he communicates any and all aspects of Sherwood’s guarantee of the finished product at its completion.
Milan’s title as Client Services Director/ Manager tells very little of his day to day responsibilities before, during and after the completed construction cycle. In all professions, “communication is key,” if not necessary. Milan is responsible for that communication.
